Would not recommend!!!! I rate my experience a 1 out of 5. I came in with my puppy to check in and they stated that they had a $100 non refundable pet deposit which I wasn’t expecting. I brought my puppy back out the front door so my folks could bring her back with them. I went about my business and the gentleman that had checked me in came back up to me talking about how I couldn’t have my dog. I then told him that the dog wasn’t here and he just kept repeating himself. I then went back up to my room and had no other issues. So I booked the room for another 2 nights and was going to give them the $100 pet fee so I could bring my puppy for the next two nights. I went down the next morning to check in and was told that my check in was blocked because someone seen my dog. I had not brought my dog in the hotel after I was told that they needed the fee. I spoke with the manager and asked him to look at the camera footage to see that my dog wasn’t here and was told that I needed to go elsewhere because there were different stories about what had happened the night prior with the gentleman that checked me in. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone!

Solid hotel in downtown Atlanta. There was an issue with the carpet on my floor, which required a Fan to run constantly, but was turned off at night so it didn't interrupt sleep. Beds were comfortable. Regarding the neighborhood, I didn't have any issues with the citizens of the street, but I know there are people that may feel uncomfortable. I do not believe they pose a threat, and the hotel, with their front door concierge and key entry doors, ensure that whatever might be happening outside will not affect your stay inside. Front office staff is very helpful and courteous. If you're looking to stay near the State Farm Arena, you can walk there, as it was a 10min walk for me. Also, there's a parking deck around the corner that you can park overnight for $25/night if you don't feel comfortable parking your car on the street across from the RC. I paid for parking one night and left the car parked on the street the other 2 nights and had no issues with either option

Our stay was short because of a missed connection at the airport in Atlanta with an early morning flight out. We arrived very late to the Ellis Hotel and hadn’t eaten dinner. We ordered via DoorDash and ran into complications with delivery. MIGUEL, the valet went above and beyond, to help my husband flag down our driver. He was kind, patient, and friendly! The woman at the front desk was as well. The only issue there was she had to also help at the bar in their lobby.

Meh. At over 100 nights traveling this year and only 2 reviews written, I can say The Ellis was a disappointment. As a Tribute Hotel, it was lacking, unlike the Hotel Forty Five in Macon or the Renaissance in Denver. Two of the front desk clerks were curt and barely looked in our direction at check in or when responding to questions about the hotel. The rooms were fine, but lacked the character of a Tribute Hotel and it took over 7 hours and multiple messages to receive toiletries. Much better stay and customer service at the AC, Marquis, Moxy or Westin.

Adorable room, impeccable service and a great experience. The room was clean with everything I needed for a two day business trip. It’s central to everything downtown. Abayan, the front desk clerk was also really helpful and friendly! I’ll be sure to come back.
